“Back to Jerusalem” is both a vision and an organization, and if you want to understand the organization, you have to understand the vision. Click the play button to watch a video and read the quotes below for more info!
THE VISION

Jerusalem was the starting point for the gospel two thousand years ago, and we believe it will circle the whole world and return to its starting point. Our aim is not merely to evangelize the city of Jerusalem, but the thousands of unreached people groups, towns and villages located between China and Jerusalem.
-Brother Yun, “The Heavenly Man”

“Back to Jerusalem” is the heartbeat of the Chinese church’s vision for the future, which is the vision to take the gospel of Jesus Christ from the borders of China into the poorest, darkest, most violent areas on earth until Jesus’ Great Commission is fulfilled and every tribe, tongue and nation has heard the good news.
-Pastor Zhang Rongliang (“Fangcheng” or China for Christ Church), “I Stand with Christ”

House churches from all over China have responded to the Great Commission by fanning the fires of unprecedented missionary fervor… This is no longer a pipe dream. It is an actual missionary movement.
-Pastor Shen Xiaoming (“Tanghe” or China Gospel Fellowship), as quoted in “The Underground Church”
BTJ CANADA
Back to Jerusalem Canada exists to facilitate partnership between Canadians and the Chinese underground house church. Our aim is to help the Chinese church as they step out in obedience to the vision to take the gospel “all the way back to Jerusalem” where it was first preached two thousand years ago.
We don’t want to control the Back to Jerusalem vision or manage the activities of the Chinese church – rather, we want to support, encourage and partner with them to reach the poorest, most gospel-starved nations in the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Among other things, we print and distribute Bibles, assist in the training of pastors and missionaries, and provide humanitarian relief to various places in the 10/40 window.
THE 10/40 WINDOW
The 10/40 Window is the primary focus of the Back to Jerusalem vision. It’s a region of the world located between the latitudes of 10 and 40 degrees North of the equator, which encompasses much of Northern Africa, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent as well as Central and South-East Asia. It’s home to:
1/3 of the world’s total land mass, 4.95 billion people or 2/3 of the world’s population, and 80% of the world’s poorest of the poor
90% or about 5,187 of the world’s unreached people groups, as well as 50 of the world’s least evangelized megacities
4 of the world’s dominant religious blocs: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Atheism, as well as the world’s highest levels of Christian persecution
INVITE BROTHER YUN

WORDS FROM FRIENDS
We were happy to have Brother Yun in all 4 of our weekend services. Even through an interpreter his stories of suffering and faith inspired our people and held the attention of everyone, both young and old. Many people commented afterwards that his message greatly encouraged them to pray and persevere in the midst of struggles they are going through.
-Kris Duerksen, Lead Pastor, Southland Church, Steinbach, Manitoba
We continue to hear loads and loads of feedback about [Brother Yun’s visit]. All week I have heard amazing feedback from friends, co-workers and strangers as they see me and want to talk about what a great evening it was.
-CrossRoads Church, Red Deer, Alberta
